Regional plans

One eSIM for a whole region

Regional plans stop you juggling a new profile at every border. They are usually cheaper than two single-country plans and always less annoying — but the country list matters more than the headline price.

Rule of thumb

When a regional plan beats single-country plans

  • Two countries: roughly break-even. Compare both before buying.
  • Three or more countries: the regional plan almost always wins on both price and hassle.
  • Crossing continents: check whether a global plan is cheaper than two regional plans — often it is not.
  • Always verify the country list: "Europe" plans frequently exclude Switzerland, Turkey or the UK, and "Asia" plans often exclude Japan.
